1899 Postcard from Hankow to Germany，bearing C.I.P. 1/2c in vertical strip of 4 and 2c，along with Hong Kong 4c definitive. C.I.P.’s tied by（6 Jun.） small dollor dater of HANKOW while Hong Kong 4c cancelled by Hankow I.P.O. chop，transit through Shanghai with G.P.O.（9 Jul.） dater，then via Hong Kong，finally with（18 Jul.） Germany dater，nice condition. The HANKOW small dollar chop shows a date earlier than that’s recorded in Mr. K.S. Chang’s work，thus being the earliest used example at domestic auctions so far.
